On 23rd August, St. Mary’s School, Kasauli, proudly hosted a Capacity Building Program on Promoting Mental Health and Wellness among Students, an initiative aimed at equipping teachers and learners with tools to nurture emotional resilience and overall well-being.

The programme commenced with the Lamp Lightening Ceremony, graced by Sr. Tesvin SD (Principal), Sr. Delphy (Vice Principal), Resource Persons  Mr. Ravi Sharma and Mr Vijay Verma, along with Venue Director Dr. Naveen Kumar. This symbolic gesture set the tone for a day dedicated to enlightenment and growth.

The heart of the program was the insightful session conducted by the two distinguished resource persons:

Mr Ravi Sharma – With 26 years of teaching experience, a passionate educator from Army Public School, Dagshai, is a powerhouse of knowledge and inspiration. A master trainer in life skills, classroom management, stress management, and more, he kept everyone engaged with his practical insights. Beyond the classroom, he is a quiz master, traveler, photographer, and sports enthusiast – proving that learning is a lifelong adventure.

The session was not just lectures but a lively exchange of ideas, stories, and strategies on handling stress, staying motivated, and creating a positive learning environment. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, collaboration, and purposeful learning. Teachers left the hall not with mere notes, but with new energy, fresh perspectives, and cheerful smiles.

The program was a perfect reminder that while knowledge fills the brain, wellness fuels the soul. At St. Mary’s, the day ended with hearts lighter, minds brighter, and a renewed commitment to nurturing both learning and happiness.
