Celebrating Our
Principal’s Feast Day and Teachers’ Day at St. Mary’s Convent School, Kasauli
On 27th September 2025,
St. Mary’s Convent School, Kasauli, was filled with joy, gratitude, and
celebration as St. Mary's family came together to mark two special occasions —
the Feast Day of our esteemed Principal, Rev. Sr. Tesvin, and Teachers’ Day.
The day beautifully reflected the values of reverence, unity, and appreciation
that bind the school family together.
The celebration commenced
with a solemn assembly offered for Rev. Sr. Tesvin, whose dedicated life and
leadership are a true embodiment of the virtues of St. Vincent de Paul —
charity, humility, and service. The Feast Day was graced by the presence of
Vice Principal Sr. Delphy and Sr. Jomy, whose support and guidance made the day
even more meaningful. Students and staff prayed for the good health and
blessings of our Principal, and the celebration was made more meaningful with
prayer dances, hymns, offerings, and a dance act that highlighted the values of
compassion and service she so gracefully upholds.
After the Feast Day
programme, the celebration transitioned into the Teachers’ Day festivities. The
students honored their mentors through a series of songs, dances, and skit
expressing love and gratitude. Fun-filled games for the teachers were organized
by the students, creating laughter and joy all around. A special highlight was
the traditional “Nati” dance presented by students in honor of the Principal,
Vice Principal, Sr. Jomy and teachers which brought vibrance and delight to the
event.
Adding to the beauty of the occasion, the teachers
themselves presented a wonderful dance performance as a tribute to Rev. Sr.
Tesvin. In her heartfelt address, Sister expressed her gratitude to all for the
love and efforts put into the celebration. She also spread joy by distributing
Choco Pies to everyone present, a gesture that reflected her warmth and
affection. To mark the joyous occasion, the teachers relished a sumptuous lunch
arranged after the programme.
The celebration concluded
with a vote of thanks and prayers, leaving behind cherished memories. The joint
observance of Feast Day and Teachers’ Day was not merely a festivity but a true
expression of gratitude, love, and service — a reminder of the invaluable role
of teachers and the guiding spirit of our beloved Principal.
