Celebration of Principal’s Day at St. Mary’s Convent School
On September 26, 2024, St. Mary’s Convent School, Kasauli celebrated the Feast of our esteemed Principal, Sr. Tesvin SD, with great enthusiasm in the school auditorium. This occasion is particularly meaningful for Sr. Tesvin as it coincides with the Feast of her patron, Saint Vincent De Paul, renowned for his lifelong dedication to serving the poor and humanity.
The event, organized by teachers and students under the guidance of Vice Principal Sr. Seema, began with the teachers escorting Sr. Tesvin to the auditorium, where she received a warm and thunderous welcome.
The program featured a welcome speech and an engaging prayer dance. Students showcased their talents with performances, including a charming angel dance by the younger students and lively routines from the first and second graders. A short play depicted the life of Saint Vincent De Paul, highlighting his love, dedication, and compassion for humanity. The celebration also included a beautiful choir, student speeches, and various dance performances.
In her address, Sr. Tesvin expressed her gratitude for the hard work of both students and teachers, encouraging the children to embody compassion and empathy in their lives. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Varnika and Shveta Arora.
